High Protein Vegan Ramen Noodle Soup

High Protein Vegan Ramen Noodle Soup packets for easy dinner, plant-based protein and simple to make!

HIGH PROTEIN VEGAN RAMEN NOODLE SOUP

One of the biggest concerns for new vegans or those thinking of going vegan, is protein. Many of us know that this is a never ending question “Where do you get your protein?”

Well, easy, from a variety of plant-based foods we eat. As long as we are eating enough calories, you are likely getting enough.

If you are into physical fitness, lifting weights or in general are very active, then protein should have a more focus into your diet. As many of you know by now, fitness is a big part of my life. I lift weights several times a week, as well as take ballroom dance classes multiple times a week.

Many of you already know this, because you follow me on social media and have purchased my workout plan! Thank you for that!

Because of this, I do focus on making sure I get adequate protein for how much I work my muscles more than I did in the past.

Proteins are the building blocks known as amino acids. Our bodies use these amino acids to aid in repairing muscles, as well as helping them grow and get stronger, especially after weight lifting. 

So, with all that said, when the company immi reached out to me to ask me if I wanted to try their high protein ramen noodles, I was all for it!

immi vegan ramen noodles come in 3 flavors:

  • Spicy Beef
  • Tom Yum Shrimp
  • Black Garlic Chicken

The protein content in these is quite impressive. 22g of protein per serving! These are quite different than other vegan ramen noodles on the market. The texture and taste is a bit different.

They are also low-carb but not low-fat. The main source of protein in their vegan ramen noodles comes from pumpkin seed protein. Many athletes use their ramen noodles because of the protein content.

To spruce my ramen bowls up, I added charred and steamed bell peppers and baby bok choy. You could also add my smoky tofu if you really want this high protein!

    I have followed you since the beginning and love all of your recipes. I am so surprised at this recommendation. The ingredients are not good at all – full of oil and saturated fat. Then there is the sodium…not a healthy food choice at all. Eek!

      I completely agree. I half wondered if this was a late April Fool’s Day joke. I’ve been using Vegan8 recipes for years and have so many favorites. This post is a big disappointment. I miss the Vegan8 of a few years ago.

        Well that is a bit harsh! I still post oil-free recipes and will continue to. You make that statement as if I promote oil products every week. My recipes that I create will continue to be oil-free, except the rare use of something like sesame oil or buttercream frosting, that I’ve always used. This is not something you would eat every single day, at all. I am by no means, a perfect eater and when I go out to eat, there is oil in food, but I also do not eat out everyday. I used to obsess over eating perfectly all the time and it drove me nuts and made me paranoid, which was way MORE unhealthy to me than eating perfectly. If this product is not for you, then I understand. I will CONTINUE to post my oil-free recipes, that will not change. Just like my new book will still be all oil-free.

      Not everything I post is a health food, never has been. My desserts are full of nuts and high fat. Just like going out to eat, sodium is higher, as well as oil. These noodles would by no means be an everyday food, just like eating out isn’t. Just like cake isn’t, or brownies, etc. but yet, we still eat them sometimes. My own recipes I create and post will NOT change.

      Hi Marcy! I heard back from immi and they are in fact using sustainable palm oil and here is the link to the ingredients and it’s even listed as such on the package. Hope this helps! 🙂 https://shop.immieats.com/products/variety-pack/ As far as oil being used, as I mentioned to another reader above and also share on social media, I don’t hardly ever cook with oil at home or post recipes with them because I try to stick to whole food fats. However, oil is not something I stress over when I go out to eat or obsess over, like I did in the past. It brought out negativity for me when I was so worried about eating so perfectly before and was not a healthy approach to eating for me. The stress to me is more unhealthy. I feel life is short and I’m in a place in my life where I’m at peace and staying stress-free is huge for me. Trying to just enjoy life and chill and it’s ok if not EVERY single food that goes into our mouth is as healthy as kale. It’s just not reality. It’s allowed me to enjoy eating out with my friends and family when I go and overall I’m much more healthy mentally that I used to be. Are these immi packets health food, of course not, but it would be a rare thing for me to eat. Going on vacation or special outings the food is nowhere near healthy at most places and I’d be starving if I tried to find things as perfectly healthy as how I cook at home. I also use store-bought cheese on occasion. These are my feelings and how I live my life and if others choose to do different, that’s great, it’s their life. If somebody doesn’t want to try immi, I COMPLETELY understand. Nobody is forcing anybody to order them. This is the FIRST time in over a decade I’ve ever posted a product on my blog that is like this, so people getting angry about it is shocking to me. I will still post all the same oil-free recipes that I’ve always posted and will not stop doing that. Hope this helps explain better!

        Oh, don’t worry about it and cheer up. This is merely the Golden Age of Trolls who feel they need to correct, chastise, and condemn others for anything they deem to be an infraction that offends them. And, small-minded people take offense at just about anything and everything that gives them an excuse to feel aggrieved and complain! It makes them feel seen and feel important to do so. It’s best to just ignore them so they’ll go away! Nobody needs that sort of negativity in their life!
