Bobby there are probably 20 dairy-free vegan yogurts sold in stores these days, so yes, it is absolutely vegan. I am vegan, so therefore I use vegan yogurt.

Thank you for sharing it with us. I found your wonderful site while searching for clues on how to replace the added butter and oil in a parsnip soup recipe. I already cook everything without oil and love it, but I’m less sure about how to replace fat that is added to soup for flavour without substituting in coconut milk. I thought about blending cashews with some of the broth to add it. I would appreciate your advice if you have some. I’ve pinned your walnut butter recipe. It looks so good, as does your broccoli cheese soup recipe. I look forward to trying roasted broccoli.
