Oh this bread is so easy, soft, and delicious! I love that it’s whole grain and healthy! I used your vegan mozzarella to make a grilled cheese sandwich with the bread, and served it alongside the roasted red pepper bisque from your cookbook. It was a fantastic meal!

This is amazing! We are trying to eat less oil and other processed foods, and I was looking for a new spelt sandwich loaf. I was worried it would be dry without any oil, but this loaf is so much more tender than my old recipe! I only had sprouted spelt on hand, and it still turned out amazing. Thank you! Made it between dinner and bedtime last night, and it was ready for school lunches today. So delicious.

This recipe worked out so well. Your instructions are perfect. The only thing that happened was when I removed it from the oven after rising and setting the oven to preheat, I removed the plastic wrap. I guess I should have left it on until right before putting it in the oven, because it deflated 🙁 Still tasted great.

I’ve been making bread as a hobby for some time now, especially since teleworking became huge, and this is the BEST step by step sandwich recipe I’ve used by a long-shot. I used white spelt flour, and it was the best looking and best tasting loaf ever.

I ran out of spelt with just 2 1/2 cups so I subbed the last cup with Miller Flour and it worked perfectly! Smells incredible right out of the oven I could barely wait to try it! Thank you so much for this simple yummy recipe!
